Today's Owl River Ranch began its history back in the early 1920's. Adjacent to Tucson's San Xavier Mission, it certainly had its ties back in the day. This ranch boasts 28 acres, three main houses, a bunk house, the rusty nail saloon, a masonry BBQ pit and support shop featuring six washer dryer units.
The houses are rich in architectural history, having fireplaces made of the same stone found at the Mission balanced with current updates both inside and out. The grounds are beautifully lit, spacious and extraordinarily peaceful. In addition to the ancient salt cedars, home to the resident Owls' of the Owl River Ranch, there are two man-made rivers and ponds with a waterfall and both are abundant with marine life...yes, an actual oasis in the desert! Cattle and horses graze the adjacent 23 acres which offer an abundant amount of development possibilities.
This unique part of Tucson is one of a kind!
